Week of January 29, 2007 - Read! That is essentially the tip from AFF this week. Fly fishing literature is abundant and interesting. If fly fishing is a passion of yours, start collecting how to books as well as fly fishing stories. They are a great way to learn and pleasure read. More importantly if you can remember what you read and then apply to a situation out on the water, you can really elevate your game. Fly fishing is studied by many and it is documented thoroughly. Like any subject, the more you do your homework the better you'll do when it comes time to land the big fish or decide what fly to use.
